We're first generation farmers with four children and farm a small mixed farm in mid-Cornwall. We started farming in 1996 and with the way farming has seen a decline we decided to diversify in 2006.
Our pigs are outdoor reared and naturally fed although we are not organic we do not farm intensively. We rear pedigree Welsh and Saddle backs. Although the Welsh pigs are a modern breed they are even rarer than Gloucester Old Spot. Our children show pigs at the Royal Cornwall Show and take part in young handlers. By using our own pork and traditional methods we bring you the cooking and eating qualities of a bygone era. We do not compromise on taste or quality.
